I had asked my SM this (as a hypothetical) and when he checked the partner pay guide (or whatever it was, it's something he could see as a SM) it said that vacation hours are automatically paid out. But my question for you is, how do you already have vacation hours if you've only worked a year? If you're in the US, you have to work a year before you even start accumulating vacation hours.
