I have hearing loss and severe ear pain (my ear drums bust super easy) any deal with this? What best way wear the head set? And how have you deal with wear it and trying run front cash register?(self.starbucksbaristas)

To be completely honest, I’d seek an accommodation from Sedgwick (if you’re at a corporate store). There are several positions where you don’t *need* to wear a headset.

aw im sorry :( they should accommodate for you putting you on positions that don’t require headsets unless you feel comfortable being there. but i seriously feel so bad, some customers are soooo loud and peoples cars are even louder.

I used it cause I was doing registers and warming and my ears still achy feeling (idk if head set or the cold front we just got)

we have a hoh partner at our store, and I always offer to take over on drive for her when I see her there bc I know she hates it bc it’s so frustrating having customers repeat their orders and then the custies get upset at her and its just sad. just let your ssv know what your issues are and ask to be positioned on tasking or bar or whatever you feel most comfy with.
