Apron question? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Kyde_Drakes
I probably know the answer to this one, but I’ve seen some cute apron patterns that I really would prefer to wear. I’m a small person and the aprons are so large on me. So, if I find the same green, can we make our own aprons? I know they said different sized aprons should be coming out, but I figured I’d ask.

I really think this depends on your store. Some stores allow pins, patches, tying them in the front- some stores don't. I think *technically* they need to be Starbucks approved, but it depends on what your manager's willing to turn a blind eye to

Part of me is willing to go ahead and do it, and the other part of me is very much afraid of putting the work/money into an apron I can’t wear XD

I definitely wouldn’t waste your own money on something you can’t be sure you’ll be able to wear. I can’t recall when exactly they’ll be available, but they did extend the sizing options for aprons. Double check with your SM or hopefully someone here remembers.

Someone tried this at my store and was shot down. Just fold up the middle a bit and cinch it with the tie.

Dang, that sucks! At least someone tried, though.

they announced that they are expanding apron sizes soon so hopefully they actually mean soon and we can start ordering them! i have a couple of tiny partners that i know are very excited

I also hope soon is actually soon! We have a couple big tall partners and even more smaller ones. Having to find creative ways to tie them is almost a talking point around the store.
