what's the standard? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by -Ana--
Canadian partner here, anyone know what the standard is for entering modifications? Like if the customer wants to add a syrup to a drink, do we need to hit the "extra". Or if they change the syrup do we have to hit "sub" and "no"?

For example someone orders a passion tango with lemonade with raspberry instead of LCS. Do y'all just hit "sub raspberry" and send it like that? Or do y'all enter "sub raspberry, no liquid cane"

In the past partners had struggled with tapping the extra buttons and seeing the extra (unnecessary) lines on the drink stickers. So we had a rule that if it didn't say "no" or "sub" we just made the drink with normal build and included modifications. But my new SM wants us to click all these extra buttons?

I usually press both because rn we have a lot of green beans at my store so I don’t want them getting confused also it only takes me like 5 seconds opposed to having to stop if one of them asks if they still wanted the classic in the drink that wanted to sub for a diff syrup.
