semi rant/genuine question: i am so confused, why am i penalized for being 2 minutes late, yet being asked to clock in 25+ min early is totally fine? ()

THIS! Getting in trouble for being 2 minutes late then the manager shortens or changes the published schedule because someone is sick or been exposed to covid or other stuff. It seems to me that when the schedule is published and posted on wall it becomes an agreement between me and my manager to stick to this schedule.
Or closers are constantly pressured to get out 15-20 minutes early. That can result in a loss of 5 hours/month and being 30 hours short of benefits eligibility
