The partners at my store could stand a lesson in cleaning up after themselves and this is one of those things. If you take the last thing from a box, you remove the box from the shelf, break down the damn box and open the next one. I STG my partners just keep taking a single cup as needed from the last sleeve of cups, sitting in the giant box on the shelf, so they don't have to be the one to take the entire sleeve and have to deal with the box. The cup/sleeve fractal is a WHOLE-ASS SHOW IN LAZINESS AND DISRESPECT FOR OTHERS AND IT PISSES ME OFF.

nervous lol, sorry for freaking out, guys. I'm fine, it's fine.

ETA: They do this with pitchers and inclusion bubbles and everything. They see they are approaching the end of something and will use increasingly tiny amounts of said-product, just so they don't have to walk five steps to get a new pitcher/inclusion bubble. Fucks up standards, it's so lazy and so disrespectful, I just can't. I mean, I can. I can! Totally still fine, guys!

I feel like there's something I don't know bc this is something I wish I saw 😭 When there are a bunch of broken down boxes in one of our trash cans (if they're even in a trash can), they are allll placed in individually, not contained in 1 box that I could pick up and chuck into recycling

at our store, the entire back deck area could be overflowing with trash bags so much so that it resembles a small mountainous park of trash and espresso grounds and boxes

the fuckin trash cans themselves though? 100% empty 🥲

recently someone dumped a TON of trash all around our dumpster, like all over the ground. it looked like they had dumped out 3 full trash bags, and also that they had thrown them over from behind (we have a little wall around our dumpsters, there’s a door in the front but it was all near the back so i think they just chucked it over from back there). a few of my coworkers had to go in there and sweep it all up/scrape shit off the ground bc most of it was food trash and just stuck there. who tf does that in a random private dumpster?? it’s not like the area is locked, they could have easily gotten in and thrown their trash away. there’s also a dump less than a mile down the road, so what gives? people are sickos man

but my absolute worst trash pet peeve is when someone dumps a bunch of grounds (especially from cold brew) knowing it’ll make the trash super heavy, and then doesn’t bag it up. then people don’t realize bc it all goes to the bottom, so even more stuff gets piled on until it’s impossible to close the bags and you have to pull out a bunch of nasty lemonade boxes and milk cartons covered in grounds/syrup/god knows what. another thing, idk if this is the case for other stores, but it feels like we get different size trash bags every week, and i can never find the size i need. we have what seems like an irrational amount of trash cans, but none of them hold much volume so we’re constantly using these huge bags, double bagging, and having to change them every 20 minutes because one trash can can only fit 5-6 milk jugs. very frustrating idk what’s going on with the trash bags but they never seem to fit.
