sounds like heaven. that almost happened to us thursday cuz they forgot to turn the ice machine on after clean play

We ran out of ice for 6 hours today and my SSV went to the store next to us and bought bagged ice instead.

It happens every day at 4 at our store 😉

this isn’t the first time it’s happened either. it also happened last year. it’s like a mythical story. the legend of the missing frappuccinos

we jus tell them we can’t blend it without base like we just literally can not and they’re like grr 😠 fine

Whenever we've run out of frap base at my store, I've always recommended kids get a cold milk with any given syrup (especially caramel or dark caramel) and whip cream! Kids always seem to like it, the parents are happy it's cheaper than a frap, and the baristas are happy because it's easier to make. Win-win-win.

no 😢. i mean , our store does get pretty busy and hectic sometimes but like compared to other stories i’ve heard i feel like we kinda have it good most of the time. but sometimes when it’s just 3 ppl (including shift manager) and a sudden wave hits us it’s kinda hell. but i don’t think any of my shift managers would rlly b having us lie to ppl no matter how busy it is :(
