Blending personal beverage components ??? Help(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by prells
Hi everyone! I’m a new SSV at my store and I have one partner constantly using the blender to blend things they bring from home. From my understanding we aren’t allowed to do this as it goes against beverage and safety/health policies. I thought we can’t use starbucks equipment and tools for our personal use (like this or like heating leftovers from dinner in the ovens lol).
I’m trying to find resources to back me up on Partner Hub but I can’t find anything. If someone knows where to look specifically or what to search up on the Partner Hub, it would be greatly appreciated < 3
If it helps I’m at a Starbucks Canada location.

I would go about it as in making them clean the pitcher and lid after they use it. I think this is the best answer so all parties are happy.

Funny I don’t know honestly because I had our most senior ssv from 2014 add protein powder to their frappucinos at like 5:30am

I used to make my protein shakes in the blender at work, but I always used an extra blender from the back and washed it right after I used it 🤷🏻♂️

We’re not supposed to but people at my store do it all the time, within limits, like making a lemon loaf frap, etc as long as no customers are in the lobby

yeah but lemon loafs r regular starbucks food. op means food from home

I need to hear more about this lemon load frap. Measurements? Is it good??

1 loaf in a grande. I can’t say it’s good but it’s not arguably bad either

So just grande amount milk and ice, and standard creme base + lemon loaf? Maybe standard vanilla powder would be good
