I almost kicked someone out today(self.starbucksbaristas)

Ok picture this , you’re the shift on and you are having a great night and your having fun… everything is getting done early and you’re. In track to get out of your store basically right at closing time
I had one of my baristas tell me there were kids on the drive thru line so I knew it was just the begging, I tell the kids they need to remove themselves from the line since it’s a hazard to be there cuz they can get ran over
Suddenly my barista tells me they’re coming to the front of the store and all hell broke loose , 20-25 teenagers walk in… screaming, running , yelling I tried taking one of their orders but right when I’m doing it one of them starts yelling and cursing from the corner of the store and I go and tell them they need to mind their volume or I’ll have to ask them to leave.
Im trynna take their orders but this kids… they are making faces , asking for prices for every single item , mocking me…. That’s not the worse… 5 of them walked to the bathrooms then 7… then 3 more…
They started fighting in the cafe and basically gave them 3 warnings and told them that if I had to ask them to behave again I will remove them from them premises
I have so much more to say about it but the disrespect this kids had ,all we could do (me and my partners )was hope their parents came to pick them up soon or hope the store caught on fire so we could close it

Should have stopped doing all the orders for them. Tell them get inline and behave or they are not going to get to order anything. Also no 3 warning, it's 1 warning and they are out. If they are making a mess, walk up to them and tell to clean it up or leave. You need to set ground rules from beginning.

My store is by a high school. When kids start to do anything disruptive-like chasing around in the store or multiple people in the restroom-I shut that down asap! I’m probably skipping a step in the deescalation process, but I feel like if you give kids an inch, they’ll take a mile. Zero tolerance.

Absolutely, when i was a partner we did same thing. Unless kids were new they knew they can't get away with being loud and making a mess. We have handed them broom, towels before and made them clean up after themselves.
