tall vent- im new and awkward and feel like i may come across as rude because im not good at socializing with coworkers . also i have the worst work fit bc i havent been able to find clothes of mine that fit the dresscode except this one outfit. anyways i just feel like im constantly being picked on for stuff i just learned how to do.

I do this thing where I don't know how to start or join a convo and so I would stand in tense silence because I felt awkward. This led people to think I was stand offish. So, I literally just started asking them about themselves. I just go "hey x, what kind of music (or whatever) do you like?" People are usually open to talking about themselves.
