This is normal policy for any company I have worked for since I was 16. Basically after three days they can consider it leave of absence and you’ll need a note saying you’re able to return to work. Some Bosses have been strict others haven’t cared. But it is a normal policy with pretty much every business I’ve worked for. And they’ve almost all been national chain businesses.

You do not have to provide your SM with a doctors note ever.
BUT - if you call out sick three or more consecutive shifts, you can be required to apply for a leave of absence, which would require SEDGWICK getting a doctors note

Okay this happened to someone at my store, but she came back after 3 days cuz she wasn’t sick anymore and my manager still had her fill out the LOA even though it was pretty pointless. I’m sick and can tell it’ll be about another 2 days, aka 4 total days of being sick, but I don’t want to have an LOA for no reason. I also don’t have insurance yet/can’t see a doctor
