Woman: HI my daughter came in to get our drinks and they are just ALL wrong.
Me and my coworkers: oh we're so sorry, can we see the stickers?
Her: well we didn't order a blondie latte or a hot blondie, I don't know what this is but it's *disgusting*. All I wanted was a vanilla latte and a black coffee 😡
Me: Well, that coffee is a black coffee it's just blonde roast, which is a type of roast.
Her: what does that even mean? All I know is it's gross and I didn't order that.
Me: well you did because it's on the sticker. We can give you a different roast, do you want the latte with blonde espresso as well because that's what you ordered.
Her: well... I just... yeah give me normal espresso. I don't want this crap.
I love when people have no idea what they're ordering and then come in extra hot thinking this is a GOTCHA moment.

It's so frustrating how "not what I expected" turns into "not what I ordered" because usually we'll remake it either way, you don't have to shit on us for literally doing exactly what you asked!

It's kinda sad that they feel like they have to come in all fired up about "drinks made wrong" when really they just didn't like it, just to get a remake. This is why when I am on register and know someone is trying something new, I make sure to tell them to let us know if they don't like it so we can make them something different. I wish all customers were aware of the policy so they could just come back and be like "hey, so, I tried this for the first time yesterday and it was really bad, but I couldn't get a remake because of XYZ. Could you all make me something different today? I think I'd prefer something sweeter/stronger/with a different milk/etc etc"
Not saying this customer in particular was a liar and not genuinely confused but yeah just in general. With this customer in particular if they were legit confused, the nicer thing would've been to be like "so idk if this was made wrong or if I just don't like the drink, but it was bad. Can I get something else?"

Yeah she mobile ordered so we didn't even have a chance to explain to her what it was she was ordering. She just came in so angry and accusatory like we messed up when in reality, she just had no idea what she was ordering and wanted to cause a scene I think.

Somebody came in for a remake and said her drink with 4 scoops of vanilla bean powder was too sweet???? She couldn’t have sugar because of a gastro issue and she read that the vanilla bean powder was sugar free. Girl 😭
