Well I got injured (self.starbucksbaristas)

I have to say this whole workers comp process is tiring and makes me not want to go through with it (probably why it’s so complicated anyway). I probably can’t/shouldn’t say much more.

Stick with it. Be sure to follow up if you don't hear back from them. Seriously the process is worth it because if your injury ends up being permanent or ends up having permanent effects it will be important for your future life. It is a pain at the beginning but once everything is sorted out it gets much less complex.

Thank you! I’m trying to get through the paperwork sludge and actual appointment(s) at the moment!

They weren't kidding when the intake person said that concentra will take you faster than even an er. My wait to be seen was like 5 min with a packed waiting room. Down side of concentra is they will try to slap on a band aid and send you back to work. Stand your ground and self advocate. If your injury is not healed as fast as they think it should be tell the doc. Ask to see a specialist . Overall once you get thru this first bit it will be easier and better. Now I have one person who does the pay stuff and a case manager and they help clear the red tape for appointments etc. Good luck and stay strong.

Yeah... Got a concussion at work over two weeks ago and I'm still trying to get everything I need because they took my information wrong for the initial call 🙃

That sucks! I hope you get it sorted out

That’s exactly why they make it so complicated 🥲 I’m sorry you got hurt, I hope the rest of the process goes smoothly and you heal quickly.
