My store doesn’t really get a lot of ppl trying to scam us for extra drinks but today a group of tourists come in and sit down. There are 5 of them and only 3 order drinks. I finish making them and about a minute later one of them comes up to the bar and tells me she wanted her drink without whip cream and there’s whip. I made this, I remember NOT putting whip so I offer to add more steamed milk (lol I already had a feeling) and she gets upset and says no, so I ask to see the label, grab the cup from her and offer to remake it “oh, you are the sweetest! Thank you so much honey!” And then I proceed to dump the drink in the sink and her whole demeanor changes to “what is wrong with you?! Why would you do that?”
My manager is bar with me so he tells her it’s protocol and she walks away salty with her single drink and her whole group glares at me for the next 30 minutes
I wonder why 😂😂
