Okay I apply and got hired for new store end of august
Started 2nd week of September
When I sign contract and everything I was ask train 20 miles away till October
Now being told I’m going have stay at that store until December/January
There 2 stores closer to me and one very short staffed (I go in there often) ( one day they close at 11am because so short staff)
My manger for the new store refuse to let me go to that store
And store I’m training at won’t let me go either
Could I just go about transferring to the store that already open and short staffed? And how would I do that?

You can’t transfer if you haven’t even started, you have to be employed 6 months before you can transfer. You can try to apply at the closer store and see if they’ll hire you, but you’ll be restarting the whole process.
