Oh you’re rocking that old model! Haven’t seen one of those in years.
EliMinivan [OP] 89 points 9m ago
It's great, we get to tell customers we don't offer blonde all the time 😎
piratedashel 52 points 9m ago
We used to have one bar with decaf and the other with blonde. That’s how we worked that one out.
EliMinivan [OP] 36 points 9m ago
We are a licensed bux in Safeway, only got room for the one machine
TurtleIsAkward 9 points 9m ago
Dude same! I work at a safeway kiosk too with the same machine
SirenSimp 5 points 9m ago
that sucks the regular espresso is ass 😂 i wouldn’t be able to work there cause all i drink are blonde ristretto lattes
Alec_Malenfant 2 points 9m ago
Then do you stop making the shaken espressos that use blonde by default or just use regular espresso?
Not_Another_Karen 1 points 9m ago
Regular espresso.

Jesslynnlove 43 points 9m ago
I don’t know the cleaning cycles, but our mastrena was recently worked on and we had 1.53 million shots pulled on our blonde machine.
diphenhydranautical 3 points 9m ago
woah
interyx 21 points 9m ago
I was watching when our machine hit 6969 cycles. That was a special day. It probably got a few hundred more before it was replaced.

I don't think the Mastrena II shows you and I'm not there when they clean it anyways.
imathrowayslc 3 points 9m ago
You can find it anytime on the new ones. It’s in the gear when you spin the dial.
interyx 1 points 9m ago
Oh, interesting. Thanks!
Urmomscoochiehairs 14 points 9m ago
Aweh the old machines💕 they hold a special place in my heart
beauloki 10 points 9m ago
I’m at a corporate store and we still have the “old” machines too 😂 Apparently our machines are too new for us to get the newer ones? So weird to me. Ours is on 3,000 i think too??
Impressive_Yellow_86 9 points 9m ago
Mine is in the 5000
hmarie0716 3 points 9m ago
Oh no, not that machine. That was a traumatizing experience🤠
SammehPls 3 points 9m ago
Both of our bars are at 11,000+ right now. One tech told me they’re some of the oldest bars he has ever seen in our state.

How they’re still running, I have no clue. But we try to take good care of them!
_coca_cola_cherry_ 3 points 9m ago
Idk about their rinses but I know my store's old mastrenas had both pulled over 30 million shots in the 20 years they'd been there. Apparently those models are supposed to be retired after having pulled 3 million, but the maintenance men just kept fixing them on the odd occasion they'd have issues.
yungwhipandnaenae 3 points 9m ago
8800 cycles…
StillLearning12358 2 points 9m ago
How do you look that up? I have that machine but idk how to check things like that
EliMinivan [OP] 2 points 9m ago
Idk if you can search it , but it shows up when you insert cleaning tablets
girlwholikesthestars 1 points 9m ago
My store's bars were built in 2008. They are both over 30000 cycles.
EliMinivan [OP] 1 points 9m ago
30 thousand? How many times do you cycle them a day? I do it once a day. 30000 cleaning cycles is 82 years worth at my rate.
FemboiTomboy 1 points 9m ago
24.

Our old Mastraena II's were horrible, every day is was a 50/50 if they were gonna work. We just got new ones this month.
moonbean37 1 points 9m ago
we just got our new bars this week and I didn’t think to check how many cycles were run on our old ones ): it had been the same M1s for 16 years though so I’m guessing it was hella. we ran tabs 3x a day every day so if math maths it was around 17k
Kaluskydrak 1 points 9m ago
When we had the mastrena 1s we had a machine close to 10000 it was like 9863 or something
xylasphone 1 points 9m ago
two of are bars are in the 6000s and one is the 5000s
ksdg1214 1 points 9m ago
I miss these machines.
Inevitable_Emu_221 1 points 9m ago
