Do not disclose that info, it’s a safety concern.

you never know the intentions of the person on the phone and people lie all the time.

policy or not, i would never confirm details of a coworker to a stranger over the phone or in-person.

"does Bob Smith work there"

"sorry, for safety reasons we don't share employee information"

That person could be a stalker, an crazy ex, a private investigator, a debt collector, the police, etc. You have no way of confirming, best to err on the safe side.

I don't believe you are supposed to disclose that information, no. There may be a section in the Partner Resources Guide that talks about this - I know it's policy that you are absolutely never under any circumstances allowed to tell someone an employee's schedule, so I imagine that also includes whether or not they work there at all.

i would never give out that information because you do not know if that partner is trying to keep their location private; which could be for a multitude of reasons.

i don’t think it’s legal to disclose that info and also it’s a privacy issue

yah I wouldn't disclose for safety. Someone once came in the DT looking for one of my coworkers who wasn't there that day, and when I told him someone was looking he said they had been trying to jump him lmao.
