mrcupcake18 38 points 9m ago

😂😂
mypoopoosmelly69 140 points 9m ago
i wish we started charging for no ice orders lol
rusted17 84 points 9m ago
I honestly imagine they will within the next year
BaristaBabe13 8 points 9m ago
It would make sense, because less ice = more product used. Same with no water in the refreshers.
Responsible_Snow7109 105 points 9m ago
Lol does he know hes gotta wait a little while u guys brew more and more? At that point, he may as well just take the 2 big tea bags home and do it there
Mundane_Ad2069 [OP] 110 points 9m ago
the thing is he like uber eats 10 trenta pure green teas😭 the poor uber eats driver usually has to wait for like a long time.
Torirock10 40 points 9m ago
BRUH EVERY DEINK IS RHE SAME?? that’s awful 😭 that’s like 700 bags of tea right there
Responsible_Snow7109 39 points 9m ago
Oh damn 😆 haha i didnt even notice that its a delivery. Lmao yea the delivery guy has to now wait a while because this person wants pure green teas and another thing, poor uber driver has to make sure he safely gets these 19 trenta green teas with no ice to the dang person lol he better tup this uber driver for it
tooshy2usemyrealname 4 points 9m ago
Wait, so this is a RECURRING thing?!
jazzihope 60 points 9m ago
it frustrates mee sm bc i know that they are just doing that tiktok trick where you get iced cups and pour the tea into it, “i can make 6 grande drinks for the price of one trenta” bro stop.
tbb10 46 points 9m ago
Yeah… guess who’s getting hot tea. Sorry I’m not waiting for it to cool off every time. If you’re gonna cheat the system you’re not getting cheated quality
Zealousideal_Ad_8666 22 points 9m ago
Coward! Come in and order that at the register.
SkippyMonroe 17 points 9m ago
I do not understand why we charge for getting a pink drink blended, but we do not charge for no ice beverages.
niftyynifflerr 8 points 9m ago
It's a difference in labor versus product. The company expects a certain amount of lost product (re-made drink, mistakes; training; surprise and delight; etc) so the extra product in a no-ice drink is just par for the course. Blending adds extra physical labor and time to make the beverage, so they are not necessarily paying for the product but for the labor of it.
peepeepoopaccount 15 points 9m ago
How is this better than making your own green tea? Would defiantly be cheaper, Starbucks tea is expensive for what it is
rterrebo 15 points 9m ago
Better start sterling more green tea, fam. Lol
Tania1290 14 points 9m ago
We need to start charging for no ice drinks. Some people are so cheap! If you can’t afford Starbucks, don’t make our lives miserable. This situation is beyond reasonable.
canadiadryy 5 points 9m ago
Right?! At that point just buy some tea bags and brew it at home.
Jaded_Fun_7133 13 points 9m ago
We have someone who does this at my store too thay cannot be shaken or else they’ll freak
niftyynifflerr 13 points 9m ago
Why would you shake it? What are you shaking? No water, no ice, no sweetener, I'm pourin' that baby straight into the cup, tf.
Jaded_Fun_7133 1 points 9m ago
Correction, some of the ones she gets do have light ice. She gets some with light ice, some with no water, some with water and regular ice, some with specific sweetener some with none at all it’s so confusing on cold bar when she orders her 15 trenta green teas (she drinks them all in 1 day too)
Urmomscoochiehairs 12 points 9m ago
No I hate this if they get more than 2 of each bc we have to brew more
jazzysoranio 12 points 9m ago
What gets me is the fact that you can actually order this.
julianradish 11 points 9m ago
Could you just fill it as you normally would without the ice? Like say you put 2/3 liquid normally just do that. If they complain you gave them what they paid for. It's now like you're going through BK drive thru and getting soda from the fountain. I like to order things no ice because it waters down my drink but I don't expect special treatment.
StarbucksIVFWarrior 5 points 9m ago
No, we can't. They'll pitch such a fit it's not worth it.
ConductorMeaty 8 points 9m ago
let stupid people be stupid people. if they want to pay what i would imagine is a $70+ order of 10 no ice green teas, then fuckin let them. starbucks pays $.10 a bag of tea so they're just being idiots 😂 drive 5 more minutes and go to the grocery store and get yourself your own bags of green tea.
Atzo02 7 points 9m ago
I had a customer today order the exact same drink as the one shown, * blames flu season * and considering me being a new partner and being put on the bar - I 100% def know how it feels when you get a sticker like this lmao
jetstarxo 4 points 9m ago
At my store we have someone who comes in once a week who orders two trenta strawberry açaís no water no ice no inclusions, two trenta cups of straight sweet cream, and then one trenta pink drink no inclusions, replaces the coconut milk with sweet cream. And to top it off everytime she comes through she says that she forgot her card at home and she doesn’t know what to do so my manager just gives her the drinks because one time I didn’t just give her the drinks and she got pissy. But thankfully after the fourth time my manager put his foot down and said no.
LilZell 4 points 9m ago
I used to have a customer do a similar order. Not as extreme, but probably the same premise. She would split and water it down on her own time throughout the day and wouldn't have to go in and buy them constantly.

Honestly still better then the people who ordered a crap ton of fraps and froze them
ElectricOranges777 3 points 9m ago
Nothing like the Jonathan order to ruin your entire workflow and take you down like 3 pitchers of green tea.
Necessary_Low939 3 points 9m ago
Might as just give him to tea bags to brew at home.
ratchet7 3 points 9m ago
I would put a tea bag in each cup...that's all. They can add water and ice at home. Take that crap literal.
ericanicole1234 5 points 9m ago
Take water literally, *dry tea*
Jessixam 2 points 9m ago
Then you’re out of green tea
floofxs2 2 points 9m ago
10 of the same? Dude just buy a box of tea! Someone needs to find his family and tell them what he wants for Christmas a big ass box of jade citrus.
How-Inconvenient 1 points 9m ago

yeah you’re def right in the sense that its a really easy drink. its just that its really time consuming since we have to wait for the tea to brew for each pitcher (that only fills 2 at a time) and fill up 10 trentas. Not to mention the packing and having to make the poor uber driver wait a brick for it to be done.
RosieHarlan 13 points 9m ago
Brew 2 tea bags with 2 liters of hot water in the 4 liter pitchers. Will cut your time in half.
gingergal-n-dog 8 points 9m ago
Yeah I'm with math whiz on this. Save the store supply of already made tea for regular orders and use the big ass containers to make the tea for this order. 5L pitcher or the red cube would be my go to. Plus you know it's getting cut with half water so fill the cups with water while the tea steeps.
And unfortunately for the uber driver this is how it goes sometimes. 😕
rusted17 7 points 9m ago
That sounds illegal even tho that’s mad smart
ElijahLordoftheWoods 21 points 9m ago
Dude there’s TEN of them, no ice, no water. I don’t can’t if you’re at the busiest store in the world, no store has that much already brewed. This dude is killing that poor driver’s delivery time
Torirock10 4 points 9m ago
yeah i thought it was just these two before i saw the sticker saying 10
clouds183 20 points 9m ago
10 trenta pure green iced teas when we can really only make like 2 or 3 trentas per 2 liter pitcher. my store only makes like two 2 liter pitchers each day. so this delivery person will have to wait for each 2 liter pitcher to be rebrewed, wait until its iced enough to not be hot, and then wait for us to pour it into more trentas. its not the easiest its draining and time consuming to have to brew so many more green tea pitchers just for a delivery.
OakTreeTrash 1 points 9m ago
With no ice, no water, this is just over 4 pitcher of tea. No one keeps that much on hand. So it will take so much time to brew all the tea. And they will either have to dirty 5 pitcher (which many stores don’t have due to them being in use) or doing it one at a time.
RaidiationHound 0 points 9m ago
Bruh

It’s not putting the tea in the cup it’s having to rebrew the tea and depending on how busy the store is that can be a nightmare. Sense you’re in this sub I wouldn’t think that’s something you’d need to be explained to you.
gingergal-n-dog 1 points 9m ago
if someone ordered dark roast traveler's you'd brew it for them and not touch your store's regular already brewed dark coffee. Think of this the same way. It's a special order. Leave the green tea on cold bar alone and brew on the side the tea for this order. Prep the bags and cups while it brewing. The shift in charge should realize that especially if it happens regularly. I wouldn't think this is something you need explained to you.
Torirock10 1 points 9m ago
u act like i’m unaware of that even tho plenty of ppl have already said it on this thread lmao
gingergal-n-dog -16 points 9m ago
You shouldn't be down voted. I had the same thought.... and I'm always right. 😆
