There’s no direct written standard that i can think of, it’s more of a “logic” policy
I explain it like this: the bottom of the shakers/pitchers are touching all over the counter, which we all know gets pretty gross throughout the day. When you put the lid onto the bottom, that’s then getting all of that counter grossness inside the lid and contaminating the drinks
