Honestly they were so fun to make and most people took a couple at most, plus since it's our first day open again it wasn't busy at allll

I wanna do this 😭 how did y’all go about setting this up ??

Whenever we have down time we'll make a certain drink we think people might like! We like to customize them in a simple way to kind of open the doors for people who might be scared to. We use pup cups and I personally shake without ice since it's easier, and put some ice in the little cup, we usually ask in the drive thru if they'd like to try any of them and half the time they say yes, and I always greet customers when they come in and tell them they're free to try any they'd like :)

Love this! Just watch out for people hard on standards, we're technically not allowed to leave samples on table. Trying not to be a Debbie downer, trying to save someone from a BS write-up😖)

Like seriously, it's against company policy at the corporate stores to do this.

BUT it's honestly because the policy brings up good points.

1. (The boring reason) food safety stuff, unattended unsealed beverages shouldn't be left out for temperature and pest concerns.

2. The way they suggest we sample is literally part of the company mission statement and origin. (I.e. freshly made drinks, and one person bringing it to people via serving-tray) Being able to welcome customers and have conversations about coffee is literally what this whole business is about.

I personally try to find midday moments where our cafe reg line ain't out the door, and I assess the lobby attendees. I get a lot of college students, so I get moments where I can come up withy own concoction and see if the customers wanna try!

I've sampled my own concoctions, the only hang up there is you gotta ask about allergies and whatnot first. But honestly, that's a fun challenge to work around restrictions.

Thanks! Our SM actually told us to make a bunch of samples haha but we throw them out after a certain period (ik either way it's against policy) but to be honest our whole thing is all messed up right now! Lol

It is the “dragon drink” so it has coconut milk in it, which is why it appears milky. The one without milk is called the “mango dragonfruit refresher”.
