“YEAH I’VE GOT A MOBILE ORDER I JUST PLACED FOR _•\|¥\”
naokeii9434 points9m ago
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT ISN'T DONE YET!? IT'S ONLY LIKE 7 DRINKS DURING YOUR RUSH"
_coca_cola_cherry_26 points9m ago
Marginally better than rolling up to the speaker box and literally telling us, "Okay I'm sending my order through.......nnnnnnnnnnnn.....now!"
uwumoment24 points9m ago
orrrr the occasional pulling up to the window without even stopping at the speaker, only to give you attitude when you inform them it helps us to stop at the speaker… especially when it’s nighttime and we have tinted windows so we can’t really see you.
imathrowayslc14 points9m ago
I have made people who skip the box go back around.
uwumoment6 points9m ago
i tell them politely that they need to tell us at the speaker next time but our store is so busy they’d cuss us out if i told them to go back around
imathrowayslc3 points9m ago
Yeah I have always been an opener. I would really only do this when there was no other car there.
ElijahLordoftheWoods3 points9m ago
Or the ones who do stop at the box but don’t wait for me to make sure I have the damn thing. We are one exit away from another Starbucks on a major highway, at least once a day someone orders for the other store but comes to us trying to lock it up.

Some lady today did this and when the DTO told her that it would be a bit and we usually ask for 10 minutes or so to have it ready she said “what are you talking about it’s just like going through the drive thru” 🙃
mrcupcake183 points9m ago
Bitch no the fuck it is not. Man how do you go around being so wrong Brenda tf out of here with that bafoonery!
insertusernameplease3 points9m ago
I think they just assume it’s like fast food places where they push your order through the system when you arrive and then it just adds to the queue for Dt/front/curbside or whatever. But when someone tells you otherwise LISTEN!!! She made me so mad.
deannxterr11 points9m ago
today i was on cafe bar and the partner on DTO asked if i had a specific mobile order AS the ticket was printing … like you really hadn’t even placed it when you asked to pick it up huh
imathrowayslc9 points9m ago
There was a stop sign in our parking lot right by the box when I worked at a DT. I always open. Every single morning at least 3-4 people would stop at the stop sign, mobile order, then drive 10 ft to the box. Every single time I told them that mobile ordering makes it take longer because its going to take a minute to print sometimes. They never listened/cared.
tantelope7 points9m ago
had someone come in today to say “i placed a mobile order but haven’t paid yet” that means you didn’t place it!!! bro 😭😭
nicolelynnejones4 points9m ago
The mobile ordering system used to be advertised as “order before you leave / before your commute” or whatever, like they made it seem like you needed to give it some time. We didn’t have we much of an issue with people coming in early at that point. Now it’s being advertised like it’s a “skip the line” system, which it’s not!
mewwissa4 points9m ago
I will never understand people who mobile order ANYTHING anywhere and go through the drive thru line…just walk in and grab the shit and leave.
ElijahLordoftheWoods2 points9m ago
Disabled people exist. It takes spoons to park, switch glasses, get out, be in pain the whole time I’m standing, find my order, leave, be in extra pain getting back in the car, switch glasses again, but my seatbelt back on, pause for a minute till I’m in less pain, and then get going again. Going thru a drive thru uses zero spoons for me. Literal huge difference

If we’re really busy and someone does this, we tell them to pull around and come inside. They usually have an attitude about it but 🤷🏻♀️ don’t place an order 1min before u pull up
“i don’t mind waiting” ok but you have 5 drinks and I have a line, im not holding it up for your mobile
