and order a dragon drink with lemonade and when he pulled up, I was like just to clarify, you don’t want the milk in there anf you want lemonade instead
and he was like yeah so I was like okayyy then lol
so that is called a mango dragon fruit lemonade. they literally swore it was a dragon drink

They get angry because the realize they were incorrect so they become embarrassed and they turn it into anger so that u dont focus on their mistake. Its annoying cuz they literally dont have to be a dick. They can just be like "oops im sorry, i called it the wrong thing" instead of making themselves look like an actual fool by stating that they always ask for that specific drink and get handed a totally different drink. Like thats obviously not true lol why would baristas always hand u a different drink from what u say to them? Its a lie to cover up their embarrassment lol

Dude, I do not care. Not in the least. We charge. I don't see how any of those other stores are not charging if they are on the same system we are, because I can tell you if it isn't on your sticker, we aren't doing it. My suspicion is that neither are any of them. But at the point where you are yelling at me for following procedure, I don't care anymore.

I’ve been told at the “other Starbucks” they never put hot water in chai! A man literally lost his shit on me because he swore up and down hot chai did not come with water. I wasn’t even pressed like I’ll remake without water dude, but you don’t work here, and you’re wrong lol

Or the “why won’t you do Xyz, this other Starbucks does. So I ask specifically which one and if they give me an answer I’ll literally call that Starbucks infront of that customer. On speakerphone. to clarify with the other Starbucks. the answer is always “no we don’t do that” obviously. And the customer sheepishly orders their drink and then leaves.

This reminds me of a woman who would order a Mango Dragonfruit refresher with coconut milk. After she had ordered this a couple of times, I told her what she was getting was a dragon drink, and that it would be easier to order it just as a dragon drink, and she said that was the only way she knew how to order it apparently.

so many people don’t know how to order refreshers. we have to start asking if they want water lemonade or coconut milk… literally yesterday someone ordered a strawberry açaí lemonade and then another refresher and i ask “is that one made with water?” and they go “yes both of them” why did u order the lemonade usually they never say lemonade unless we ask them it’s so annoying

someone asked for caramel drizzle on her vanilla bean frappuccino and she got mad at us for not lining the cup with caramel. she was like “the other starbucks does it and doesn’t ask me to clarify what i want >:(((“ well the other starbucks is wrong bruh
