Apply online and hand in a resume. The applying online lets the hiring manager see your info and the resume is just too have it as an actual paper to remind them to check your online resume

At least in my experience the interview matters more than the application if that makes sense? You apply online and resumes are not required but if you have lots of volunteer experience I’d include one so you can talk about it in your application! When in the interview key strengths to show would be any ‘fast paced environment’ experience or skills, multitasking, and people person skills! Good luck!!

Their gonna ask about customer connection, so be ready to talk about how you like to talk to customers.

The bar isn't super high to get hired. Your volunteer experience will probably not be relevant.

Have a decently open availability and try to be appealing to that manager. They're thinking about whether you're going to be an asset or a pain in the ass for them. The best ways to be appealing are to mention weekend availability, but ultimately each store's needs will be different. Asking a manager what they need can be a bonus.
