taste is a matter of preference so i want to preface by saying there are no right or wrong answers. *HOWEVER:* Earl grey is a floral tea characterised by its heavy bergamot scent (which is also what gives froot loops their scent). its taste and aroma are flowery, and would pair well with other citrus items, or mint, or something light but bright in flavour.
cinnamon, caramel, toffee nut, and brown sugar have a very different flavour profile, they are heartier sweet flavours that pair with chocolate, coffee, graham crackers, that sort of thing. so this iced LF is comparable to say, peanut butter and cinnamon on a slice of lemon loaf. it just doesn't go.
about the teabag thing: if i were making this drink, i'd take a tall cup, fill it with hot water, and steep four earl grey tea bags in it for five minutes. this is how the modifier would apply to the standard, and this would make really strong, gross, yucky tea.

It’s also made with heavy cream. So it’s equal parts tea and heavy cream.
