Black (liquid) then white(gas) I remember this by saying Dont leave gas alone. Disconnect gas first. Connect liquid first

I think the reasoning helps make it stick in my brain better:
When you connect the gas first it pressurizes the tank with nitrogen. That makes putting on the liquid output line harder with the gas rushing out as you push it on. So do liquid first that way it's super easy to click on!
If you disconnect the liquid before the gas the tank is still pressurized so gas will explosively leave through the liquid vent which can be an issue! So disconnect the gas first, depressurize the keg, then disconnect the liquid.
