Stay. Home. I understand not being able to afford missing work, but you do not pass the COVID check and lying can get you in trouble. Not to mention the ethical issue of you going in while sick. That’s not fair to your coworkers.

Ah of course I forgot about the covid check.

What abt sick days ? As I said I'm just about at 3 months, just got my green bean pin and have been working as much as I can.

Contact your SM. You may be able to use your sick hours if you have some (iirc they start accumulating when you start but I cannot recall how they’re calculated) and you *may* still be able to take advantage of the COVID pay; it’s supposed to end either 10/2 or 10/3 so contact them like.. now.

Is the catastrophe pay gone? When I started a couple years ago my store shut down for a week two days in to my training and they let me use a like one time catastrophe pay.

It ends on 10/2. New policy goes into effect 10/3. If you do live in California and have been with the company prior to the change in policy(specific time frame but I can’t recall what to be exact) you can use the untouched CAT-Pay for covid for isolation(positive case) or vaccine

it’s 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours you work i think but i could be wrong

I told my sm and am using my sick days
