Haven't posted a lot here yet, haven't been working for very long, haven't had cause, but after today I just...
We had what for our store is "peak" for *six hours straight.* That's not hyperbole, I'm not exaggerating; we literally had 30+ customers every thirty minutes for six hours.
A new customer every minute. Not counting mobile orders, not counting multi drink orders (which were the majority) so drinks were closer to a new drink every 15 seconds.
And we were understaffed. Because of course.
Spent nearly the entire day on bar, because there aren't weren't that many people who can keep up with that kind of nonsense, and I guess I'm one of them.
It wasn't as bad as it could have been, objectively--we did, somehow, *mostly* manage to keep up, but...
*Christ on a cracker,* that was a lot.

1) Varied a little, but between four and five, with five mostly occurring when the trainer and trainee were on the floor.
2) Mobiles were on throughout, far as I could tell, but my store doesnt do delivery.

DT? If so, that would be tricky. Cafe could pull it off though, done 70+ half hours with four on the floor... Just had do deal with no CS 😖

It was a drive-through and Cafe store, although honestly the cafe was busier. Marginally.

Hey I feel your pain.
Our morning crew just had 5 people from open-1pm. With 50 transactions per half hour, for 2 hours peak. It was pretty busy after that too.
Then when I got on at 1, we had 3 people till 5pm. And we closed after that with 2 people. We stayed an hour and a half after close to just do the bare minimum. I am so sore right now haha.
I'm just happy I love working hard, otherwise I'd hate my job right now.

Makes sense. DT drinks can only go so fast. But great job on the mobiles!!
