We had what for our store is "peak" for *six hours straight.* That's not hyperbole, I'm not exaggerating; we literally had 30+ customers every thirty minutes for six hours.
A new customer every minute. Not counting mobile orders, not counting multi drink orders (which were the majority) so drinks were closer to a new drink every 15 seconds.
And we were understaffed. Because of course.
Spent nearly the entire day on bar, because there aren't weren't that many people who can keep up with that kind of nonsense, and I guess I'm one of them.
It wasn't as bad as it could have been, objectively--we did, somehow, *mostly* manage to keep up, but...
*Christ on a cracker,* that was a lot.
