Quality control seems to not even exist anymore. My store had soooo many bad tall dome lids that just wouldn't fit. Now we have venti/grande dome lids that take every ounce of strength you have to get the shits on. Empty straws, food bags with missing handles, etc.
It doesn't sound like much but it gets old fast especially when you're standing there trying to get Jessica's caramel crunch capped but you're having to double cup, put it in a new cup, try 5 different god damn dome lids and finally, FINALLY you get it on and have to redo the whip. Rinse and repeat. π

YUP! none of our grande venti dome lids fit. It's a fight just to make fraps. We ended up marking out the bases so we don't have to deal with mobiles for them.

the amount of cups and drinks that have busted or gotten all over me due to dome lids not going on... i got a whole venti mocha cookie frapp all over me cause the cup busted due to the lid not going on π

I feel your pain, last night someone came through the drive through and ordered a venti iced white mocha and I watched our shift lead make it and fight the lid just for the cup to bust all over the counter and floor lmfao it's epic

What is with the cups lately?!?! We got a whole box of grande hot cups that literally disintegrated in contact with hot liquids. Like I was picking them up after making a drink and itβs exploding all over me and the counter, and it was the only box we had! The cups were completely compromised, so ridiculous. Thank god we realized before handing any to customers π
