Ordered at the register without letting us know they were coming beforehand (note the amount of drinks in the order) (i.redd.it)

Yoooo I had this exact thing happen last Friday! We’re generally a very low traffic store so manager and I had sent our 3 baristas on break all at the same time, and then ofc we got a big queue and a group of like 5 interns literally place 25 drinks. They had a list of all the drinks for everyone and he just gave me his phone so I could input them all on the till 💀 I swear these guys come like once a month, they never tip LOL and last time they even had the audacity to ask if they could have some of the drinks FOR FREE because they were spending so much money in store like they were doing us a favour!! People are whack 😭

“If you download the app you will rack up points to get drinks for free” but honestly some customers are so dumb for even asking like what do you think this is??

Like the people who try and order weird combinations of additions and ask me to type it that way “because it’s cheaper than ordering the drink that contains all those ingredients”.

No. I do t have time to type it that way. Look at my register

Also, my store had a guy recently who was so kind. The day prior around 4 pm (i wasnt there) but i opened and there was a note on the DCR with a few stickers like 4 of them i think. Well some guy came at 4 pm the day prior and paid for his 4 drinks ahead of time so we had the stickers ready and everything. Little does he know that 4 drinks is nothing compared to what we normally get lol he was such an angel for paying for the drinks ahead of time. So he wanted them ready for 8 am, it was only 2 venti hot coffees and 2 refreshers. He comes in a few minutes after 8 that next day and we were SLAMMED in a rush and worked on it as soon as he came in and we apologized and he was so understanding 😭💗

That is ridiculous 😳 but however on a lighter note, im extremely happy that they paid a ton of money like paying for 25 drinks and one of them being this one wherr they were charged for oatmilk and caramel drizzle and line the cup caramel not to mention the drink itself for a venti iced white mocha is already expensive as it is. I hope it wasnt on company money. I hope it was out of their pocket lol

We had something like this happen months ago
But they placed a mobile order for 27 drinks and then came in and place another order for 20 drinks. They told us they were doing this at every location that morning for a hospital, but still would’ve been nice for a heads up, since my store gets constant traffic!

Yooo that has happened to us as mobile orders. We had this one couple as well mobile order 6 All different coffee travelers and they came 30 mins later and were livid about the fact that it wasn't ready. Like ma'am. You ordered it during peak without calling and checking when it would be done

App is dumb to not have an alert about travelers being a slow thing

Had this happen 20 minutes before we closed last Friday. Bus labelled "First Baptist Church" pulled in and a hoard of people swarmed in. Ended up having to close 15m late while listening to their singing.

I believe this was Hell.

We are in a grocery store kiosk and they never call ahead with large office orders. Thought it was a normal thing for starbucks.
Note:there is only ever 2 people on.

I tell them when they complain about speed “call ahead next time. Give us a day notice”

low on staff as well?

Do you tell these people that the sauces have dairy in it? And sweet cream on top of the least fat milk base defeats the purpose?
