Brewing coffee on schedule, wiping counters for the baristas if they’re too busy themselves, clean the cafe and bathrooms, changing trash… that’s all i can think of atm but there should be an actual cycle list posted somewhere, just ask!

Maintain food case, stock rtde, wipe counters, brew coffee (arguably most important task of CS), change trashes, dishes, make back ups (drizzles, VSS, whips), change sanitizers, do table touches, check bathrooms

So generally you’ll want to go by your coffee timer to remember what tasks to do. At my store it’s ice, beans, sleeves. Next cups, lids, milks. Then if you finish those and still have time you can move on to other tasks like backups, changing trash, stocking restrooms, spot cleaning the lobby, maintaining and stocking the RTD&E, and doing dishes. You want to try to rotate with your timer though so you’re not stuck doing dishes while there’s no ice or cups up front. If your store has a cycle task list somewhere that would be the most helpful thing to follow. But for my store at least and when I’m on CS, that’s how I do it.

Ask about station assessments. If you have the time, you can deepclean

My personal CS cycle: - Coffee/ice/paper stock (cups lids straws sleeves bags etc) - Check sanitizers -stock fridges -sypurps and inclusions -refreshers and lemonade -iced tea/coffee, cold brew -whips/sweet cream -check cafe/bathrooms (stock and clean as needed) -cycle task list -cards (the station cards for the time slot; should be hanging somewhere close by)
If all that's done I check in with my partners to see if they need support at all, if not I ask my ssv if anything else needs doing.
Important to make connections with customers while you're running around too! Even just a hello :) or ask if they want a water
If I'm really bored I'll start checking the clean Play list

There should be a card and a whole page about the role (we have a binder) but basically you’re gonna brew coffee, set your coffee timer, do customer support tasks during that time until it goes off and you have to brew more coffee. Things like trash, dishes, stocking, cleaning the lobby. Also sometimes they’ll give you a second position like cold bar that you will do so it’s like brew coffee, take out one trash can, cold bar, brew coffee. And when in doubt, I like to just announce over the headset I’m support if anybody needs anything.

Cycle task list

I always start with a customer support cycle, ill brew fresh coffee, start my timer, then stock everything for my bar people; lids, ice, cups, fridges, straws, sleeves, etc. change sanitizer, wipe down. Then once i know my bar partners wont need anything immediately, coffee is fresh etc. ill start on either tasks or prep.
