we’ve been on and off with cold brew for a while now. our cold brew machine just decides when it wants to work and doesn’t — so in place of that we’ve been offering iced coffee with a shot added as an alternative. This was an ACTUAL crustie custie exchange over this substitution.

crustomer👹: Can I get a pumpkin cream cold brew?

🫡: Unfortunately we’re out of cold brew at the moment, but would you like to do an iced coffee with a shot. It’s our substitute.

🫡 *hands her an iced coffee with shot made as a pumpkin cold brew*

👹: why does the sticker say iced coffee?

🫡: Sorry ma’am, I tried to tell you we are out of cold brew so this is our substitute.

👹: Well, i don’t want iced coffee.

🫡: What can I get for you ma’am?
