okay so.

im anemic and also just have chronic migraine issues, AND on top of that i have really bad allergies right now. so on top of feeling like im gonna faint because of how weak and fragile i am, i have the most debilitating headache, cant see or hear well, AND my throat is all messed up cuz allergies.. so yeah no i dont wanna go into work tmw i was gonna call off..

BUT.. i called off three weeks ago for similar reasons (fainting) and .. i kinda feel bad .. is twice in three weeks a lot ..

ive been a partner for like.. 2/3 months now and this is the only two times ive called off as well ..

my manager is the sweetest, so are the people i work with they know i have lots of health issues and are super accommodating and nice when im working. but even so i dont wanna have that reputation of calling off all the time.. :(

am i okay to call off or is that too frequent☹️

Honey twice in three weeks is nothing. I had various emergencies of the medical kind in a two week span, and I still have my job, you'll be okay especially if you have sweet managers. Try and find yourself coverage but don't beat yourself up if you can't.

twice in 3 weeks is too much to call off because you forgot you told your friend's sister's babysitter's cousin you'd go to lunch with her.

twice in 3 weeks because of physical illness is not a problem.

u should be fine. ive been immunocompromised since the beginning of the year (thanks covid) so i get sick maybe once a month. at this point my SSVs and SM all expect it sooner or later and are pretty accommodating.

I once called off 5 times in 4 weeks and I still have my job. Try not to worry about it, I think you’ll be ok.
