Starbucks Ice cream! (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by MonsteraNSFW
I'ma put y'all on making ice cream at work. It's literally so easy to do. I like to markout a grande cold milk, make it heavy cream, add 4 scoops vanilla bean powder as a base, then add in whatever flavours I want and foam it all in the foaming pitcher. It fits 2 oatmeal bowls perfectly. So far I've made dark caramel brownie chocolate chip, strawberry with strawberry pieces, Tiramisu, mint chocolate chip, and matcha with plans to make cinnamon brown sugar, pumpkin spice, apple pie, peaches and cream, Earl grey, hazelnut, blueberry, and malt chocolate to name a few. Stay creative y'all, make the most of your benefits and have some tasty ice cream 👀 you deserve a sweet treat after work!

Since y'all seem confused, I'ma give y'all a recipe to follow. I'm going to give you a recipe for my Dark caramel chocolate chip brownie ice cream!!

Mark out a Grande cold milk, heavy cream, 4 scoops vanilla bean powder, 2 full pumps dark caramel, 6 scoops java chip, light mocha drizzle, caramel drizzle, cookie crumble,no ice. Also, markout a brownie.

-Chop brownie into small chunks and split chunks into 2 oatmeal bowls.
-Add 2 scoops of Java chips into each and add caramel drizzle all around the bowl and on top of the brownie itself
-Add the grande heavy cream into foaming pitcher along with the vanilla bean powder and dark caramel then foam on 4 twice.
- Pour on top of brownie all the way to the top, then add mocha drizzle, caramel drizzle, cookie crumbles, and one scoop of frap chips to the top of each. Seal and you're done! Just freeze it either at home or in the back freezer (if your managers don't mind).

It's ridiculously good and easy peasy! Took me like 2 minutes to make, lots of steps but it's basically just to layer flavours. It's basically a single serving/ two servings per cup (depending on how much ice cream you want in a sitting).Let me know if y'all want more recipes!!

I take expired/stale chocolate dipped Madeline's on the bottom of an oatmeal bowl. Add 2 ristretto shots, letting the espresso soak into the cookie a bit. Add vsccf on top, mocha drizzle and freeze.
Could probably use straight hwc like your recipe does... nice share! Thanks!

I used to do vanilla sweet cream but find that it stays a little icy because if the water content (syrup) so I use heavy cream instead now! I made a similar ice cream with petite vanilla bean scones instead (though I actually debated on using Madelaines!!) to make tiramisu ice cream for my mom.

omg sounds delicious!! i can’t wait to make it. just to make sure, you don’t have to put a lid on it right? bc we don’t have lids for our foaming pitchers. also how long should i blend it for?
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 17 points 9m ago
Naw, just blend it on 4 like twice to aerate it so that the ice cream is nice and fluffy!
softheartelectricsol 2 points 9m ago
thanks!! i’ll update on how it tastes lol
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 3 points 9m ago
What flavour you going for? 👀
softheartelectricsol 9 points 9m ago
might just do a test with just vanilla, i love plain vanilla ice cream anyway lol. oooh might add some mocha drizzle on top too
softheartelectricsol 4 points 9m ago
Update: tried it, but i don’t think the heavy cream was cold enough so it didn’t really work even tho we blended it quite a bit </3. But! i had the genius idea to try to make butter instead, and we were successful!! we made butter instead of ice cream and put it on a bagel and ate it 💀 pm me for pictures!! or if i figure out some way to link it in this comment i will do that.

edit: oh my god just looked at another comment that said to put it in the freezer. i am dumb as shit. will retry. so sorry
Torirock10 10 points 9m ago
pls elaborate more. like do we have to freeze the blender before we make it 😭 how long to blend etc etc
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 12 points 9m ago
Just blend once or twice on 4 to aerate, put whatever ingredients you want into the oatmeal bowl (or like a starbies cup is fine it's just that if you putt heavy toppings I'm they're going to sink so keep that in mind. A shallow bowl is better for enjoyment). And out it into the freezer (either at starbies or at home). It'll be ready in a couple hours. Super freaking tasty!
Torirock10 3 points 9m ago
okiii. so fill the grande cup completely? about what line on the blender is that
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 8 points 9m ago
Fill up your grande completely, pour it into the blender with 4 scoops vanilla bean powder, add like 2-4 pumps of whatever flavours you want (if you want plain vanilla do vanilla syrup or extra vanilla bean powder) then blend on 4 twice. I'm the receptacle of your choice add toppings to bottom, pour foam on top, top off with whatever toppings drizzles or powders you want, then seal and freeze. Should be ready in a couple hours!
Torirock10 4 points 9m ago

I always do heavy cream in my fraps that I’ve shaken with ice first to get them more milkshakey

politelymalicious 2 points 9m ago
i wanted to bring lavender and other syrups for partner use only but i never got around to it 😔 and i was kinda scared to ask my SM lol
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 1 points 9m ago
They probably wouldn't allow it. I wanna start bringing some garlic powder xD
politelymalicious 1 points 9m ago
honestly i get the itch to bring in a lil pantry of stuff to cook up something new and exciting 🥲
Lcolecrochet 2 points 9m ago
Do this then top off a brownie
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 3 points 9m ago
Better yet put it on a warm brownie once it's frozen!
zzid2d21 3 points 9m ago
Then top it with an affrogato shot! Siren Sundae
Lcolecrochet 3 points 9m ago

MonsteraNSFW [OP] 3 points 9m ago
No but I bet it would make it a very pretty colour!!
linseeded 5 points 9m ago
It was good on top of a pink drink,, but if a customer ever tries to order it I’m gonna lie and say we can’t put the dragon bits in the frother lmao. Last thing we need is THAT to blow up on tiktok

i’m interested how the earl gray will work since the cream is cold ?! cus that sounds delicious
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 2 points 8m ago
I have made it since posting! It's very delicate and adding lavender at home definitely makes a difference. I steeped 3 bags into a short cup then added that to a basic vanilla ice cream after it's chilled (heavy cream, vanilla bean powder, and vanilla syrup). I'm thinking about making a different version where I steel the tea bags in steamed cream and let it cool, then going through the process of making that cream into vanilla ice cream ya feel?
diphenhydranautical 1 points 8m ago
ahhh thank you, that sounds amazing im definitely gonna try this!!!! my first thought was the second method you mentioned and i’ll probably try it like that :D

honestly I have no idea how some stores can get away with this. No way we'd be able to do anything like that, we aren't allowed to make our own drinks.
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 2 points 9m ago
Anytime they try to enforce that at my store they fail miserably, managers included. Everyone here is good at marking their stuff out so there's not really a problem either. We're just too busy, if we marked a drink out for a 10 or lunch we wouldn't get it for like 10-15 minutes probably. Also hell if I'm letting anyone else make my drink, one look at my sticker and they'll want me to make it myself lol.
Kaluskydrak 1 points 9m ago
Curious about how to do the earl grey?
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 2 points 9m ago
I'm thinking about how to do it, might start it at the very beginning of my shift by steaming a little milk at warm temp and letting them sit in it for a little extra then letting it chill. Might even bring some lavender from home to make it extra bougie. Still speculating on that one.
joshwantsluke 1 points 9m ago
Whats the consistency? I think that might be bad for the cold foam blender blade, not sure tho
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 5 points 9m ago
It's it as for the blender promise. Don't mix toppings in the blender. Just the heavy cream/vanilla bean/syrup mixture. It's like sweet cream foam but thicker.
dazedandconfusedhere 1 points 9m ago
Does it come out like soft serve consistency?
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 4 points 9m ago
In the blender it's like very thick sweet cream foam, after freezing it's like a dense but soft ice cream. Pretty standard.
dazedandconfusedhere 3 points 9m ago
My brain totally didn’t think of the fact that you would freeze it after you foam it lmao 😂
MonsteraNSFW [OP] 1 points 9m ago
Fair enough xD
