What the hell are you doing at Starbucks then?!!! 😱 (self.starbucksbaristas)

Today we had a lady double and triple check that there was “No coffee” in her Carmel ribbon crunch cream Frap, because “I am allergic to coffee.”
We were all shocked that she was even there!
Also, that once there, that she didn’t let us know at the box… we obviously can’t promise there won’t be any cross contamination, but we can at least clean the blender more thoroughly!
But in reality, what the hell?!! We are primarily a Coffee Shop! We may serve other things, but like what are we known For?!!!
Say it with me- C-O-F-F-E-E!!!!
Why would you even risk it?!

People can be very loose with the term allergy. I had a parent order a soy caramel Frappuccino for her child with a dairy allergy. I explained that our cafe is not allergen safe because of cross contamination and she said it’s fine. I make it and hand it to her and she asked it to be remade because I forgot to add the whip cream.

this happened to me too! a customer didn’t tell us until we handed out her drink that she had a dairy allergy so i put whip on her frap. i washed out the blender and remade the drink without whip or caramel drizzle and handed it out to her, and she said i forgot the caramel drizzle 🙄 if i wasn’t vegan and didn’t know what did and didn’t have dairy in it, she would’ve been screwed if it was a severe allergy

I'm sensitive to coffee. Any kind gives me raging migraines the second I drink it. I still work here. Starbucks has things that aren't coffee.

Sounds like a dumbass just trying to cause an issue. Cause if she really was she would've said something at the box and as you said we sell COFFEE. Our name is Starbucks COFFEE. People just like trying to make things difficult
