Starbucks and Tarbucks (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Accomplished-Claim94
I currently work at a corporate owned Starbucks but was thinking of working at both of them. I’m not sure if this is allowed, because you’re not technically supposed to work for a competitor. But would it technically be considered that..it’s still a Starbucks.

I did it! It was no problem , but I will say Tarbucks fucking SUCKS compared to Starbucks I quit after 2 weeks. No free drinks , barely any discount, terrible management, and target doesn't give a flying fuck about their employees

Stores buy the rights so sell starbucks drinks and items. It isn't starbucks itself even though it has to still follow standards, if they do. So it is thus another coffee shop and company paying you. It would most likely show up on your w-2 or some sort of report involving your job description. I work a store for two years and recently am a starbucks employee. I have talked to my SB store manager about it cause my grocery store manager asked if I'd move to starbucks department. Its not allowed.

There may be people that haven't been found that do it. Idk though.

A coworker of mine was told it would break a non compete to work at 2 different coffee shops but that she could work at Barnes & Noble Cafe and Starbucks at the same time. You're technically an employee of Target & I'm not sure how anyone would know.
