its honestly rediculous. i took this order over dto, and i kept saying “is this all for your ONE drink” “11.35 for your ONE drink” “heres your ONE drink” LMAOOO people are insane. i cant even afford a meal thats 11$

I used to work at a Starbucks next to a courthouse in one of the major cities in the US. Like, BIG skyscraper courthouse. Had a guy who’d come in while the court was taking breaks, always make a point of being like “well I’m in a rush because I’m a lawyer” (honey you’re getting your drink when you get your drink), and would always scan his app. Guess how much he had on his account just like, loaded. 600$. six HUNDRED DOLLARS of STARBUCKS MONEY. Then I transferred and now I work near a private high school. Girl comes thru drive thru, driving a big ass Mercedes, in the school uniform and looking like a baby. Has 120$ loaded on her card. I will NEVER understand it. Maybe I’m just chronically poor

It’s the people who have thousands of stars and don’t use them, that’s rich rich to me. Had this guy who always have hundreds of dollars loaded on his Starbucks card, one day I let him know that he had like thousand something stars and that he could use some to make his drink and meal COMPLETELY FREE and he said NO ITS OK
