lmao the bathroom at the store i worked at was too far away for us to hear anything at all.

Our back room is up against the wall behind our restrooms. So yes we can hear what’s going on sometimes. Never a fart though, mostly just like banging around noises and i always wonder what’s going on

I've done that thing where you put your hands up against your mouth and blow as hard as you can in order to make the noisiest, nastiest fake fart sounds possible, and even after close they only really hear me if they're listening for it.

Loud voices are heard super easily though. I've been in there cleaning and yelled "JUST A SMALL TOWN GIRL LIVIN IN A LOOOONELY WOOOOORLD" and was heard clearly in the cafe.

Guess the lower frequencies don't resonate as well.

I will blow up the bathroom for 10 minutes and tell the shift lead that the bathroom is a mess and they will send someone to check it out and do a lil cleaning. and i never close so ive never cleaned the bathrooms! ;)
