So I really wanna know (calling SM, SSV, and Veterans). What is your “stores” remake policy? (Yes there’s a corporate/ standard remake policy) but what’s yours?
We have guests saying they called weeks and days ago or making up lies that their phone died on Monday it’s Friday and they couldn’t call…….it’s to the point where people just drop by for a free drink and it’s getting slightly annoying because their stories don’t make 1+1 equaling to 2!

We’ve had a lot of people coming in and requesting free drinks. We ask if they have proof of purchase for the drink and usually if it’s anything longer than a day I’ll usually say that it’s not sufficient (SM’s agree with me whenever this happens)

we only let SSVs deal with all refund or remake calls. we give them a 2-3 day notice (unless they say they were out of town) and we write it in our play book and we usually tell each other at shift trades. of course there’s a few who slip through the cracks or the whole “pick your battles” bc these ppl get angry

I’m just a barista but my store is trying very hard to kiss ass, and will literally remake drinks from other stores that are brought in and remake everything, as per SM request. Specific baristas and shifts will put up a fight but overall the customer always gets what they want 🤡🤡🤡🤡 it pisses me off to no end tbh they come in, are really rude, get free shit, are obviously lying and then do it again next week and always blame the baristas for making a shit drink.

AGREED! Especially people who come in MONTHS LATER after “speaking with someone on the phone”

So annoying. Don’t managers realize this isn’t creating happy customers - just happy con artists? Like these people won’t leave a bad review or something bc they know they’re in the wrong and trying to finesse a free drink. All you’re doing is encouraging profit losses.

Well said! This was in the fall training too as far as profit loss.
