can I order pitchers without being a shift? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Our store is in desperate need of pitchers and cubes, shifts seem to disagree but we quite literally only have 5 pitchers for the whole store. People on bar are constantly having to refill and even prep stuff as they’re making drinks. is there any way I can order these with just being a barista?

If a SSV is logged into ims then you could, but if they find out it was you it’s definitely a fire able offense

No you cannot. Also, pitchers are currently not available to order anyways to “support new store openings”

I’m not a ssv, just a barista. I’ve never tried to actually place an order but I can log into the ims. I do it all the time to get SKU’s for items I want my ssv to order.

We have over 25 pitchers. We got rid of the cubes to store refreshers months ago. I can’t imagine having only 5 😧 We also store our iced teas and iced coffee in a beverage dispenser. But tbh I don’t think you could as a barista. Mostly because that itself is another type of training.

If you have 5 pitchers…. Thats more than all the stores combined in my district. The only store that has them is the brand new store that opened last month. Im sure its a shortage of some sort.

i’d go to your store manager. it might be different at other stores but at mine the ssvs just place the daily order w cups, lids and milks, so it might not be their call.
