Are chokers allowed to be worn during your shift?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I read in the partner guide thing that necklaces can be worn but have to be tucked under the shirt. So can I wear a choker? Because technically it’s a necklace but it can’t be tucked into a shirt

It’s probably more like a thing where they don’t want your necklace to be long and dangly and hazardous (as in swaying or dropping into drinks and shit lol). A choker wouldn’t do that so you should be good…

The reason it has to be tucked into your shirt is so it doesn't dangle in food or drinks. If it doesn't dangle, you can wear it.

Depends on your SM I think. I wear one nearly every shift and haven't been told to take it off.

I wear one every once in awhile and no one has said anything 🤷♀️

People at my store do. Could wear it and when you go in, check in with your manager and see what they say

If it has no dangly pieces it should be relatively okay. You may be told to take it off but worth a shot anyways
