I'm literally so done (self.starbucksbaristas)

Lately my shifts have been cut from 7.5-8 hr shifts to 5.5 hr shifts... all opening shifts as well. My schedule keeps changing last minute as well. This upcoming week I'm not scheduled in at all while my co workers are scheduled in. People keep calling in sick, and one person even quit after a week of being open. Once we're put on a station, we stay there until our shifts are done- yesterday I had to fight to be put on cold bar since I've been stuck on POS and DTO for the past week.

When I was on DTO, I was the only one taking payments and taking orders and running back and forth between the two, and had a shift leader come up to me and tell me that I was ordering slow (my max was 50 sec and she ended up close to 2 min for taking orders) and tried to blame me for making a customers drink wrong (I never even made it, I punched it in correct as well)

When the shift leader or manager comes to help or correct a white coworker, they can laugh about it, they approach them gently, but with me, they are frustrated or come off as passive aggressive (I'm Indigenous/Asian) I feel out of place and feel like I'm being treated differently

I can't prove anything of course but I am also an Asian transfem partner who often gets the shit end of the stick on positions. I like DTO/DTR but only for so long since the sun makes me fucking sick. My hormones have a notice on them to avoid excessive sunlight. Should make medical accommodation and see where that gets me.

I also have the issue where I just feel like everyone is like? burdened? to talk to me.

So, you and me both, friend. :(
