Hi i just got hired on wednesday they said they would send a email for the background check but i haven’t gotten one yet i was just wondering how long it would take and if i should call them and remind them !

it takes a while, for me i got hired but my background check took three weeks, i just waited it out

The people answering you seem to have misunderstood your post... They’re answering how long the background check took to process, not how long it took to receive the email to initiate it.
The email should have been sent to you by now, I would check your spam folder if you haven’t already. If you still haven’t gotten the email to initiate the background check by today I would call or text the manager and make sure they sent it out.

I got hired a week ago on a Friday and my background check was done by Monday.
