How does one fix to scan phone screens (i.redd.it)

It will scan everything else but not scan the phone screens!? How do we fix this lmao

I always just scan the bar code on the back of the base, I think it resets it or something

Unscrew the bottom of the gun and take the battery out for about 20 seconds, put it back in and it should work.

it’s supposed to have a rubber cover that does what some of these comments are describing :) see if your manager can order it

Put the hat on it! If you stuck a sleeve on the end it gives you almost the perfect distance to scan a phone + some shade!

These are all great fixes and all, but have a shift put in a ticket for it, there should be some troubleshooting that it will lead them through
