Hi hive mind, I have a little bit of a predicament. My SM has been creating a crazy work environment. Like idk if it's my head but is it normal for a sm to tell you they're going to develop you and just don't . Like all you hear about is the bad and there is 0 praise for the good because that's the " bare minimum ' they're also talking bad about our shifts to all of us baristas and even to other baristas at different stores around town legit saying they don't know what they're doing When all I see is them trying so hard to please the sm. They've asked some of our partners to be spies for them, which I was just dumbfounded when I found out. So that they can find a reason to cut ties with partners and shifts. Sadly that's not even half of it. But I don't want to let this get too crazy. We're sort of at our wits end. Not sure what to do . Should we try talking to the DM or ethics and compliance. Done much needed advice is welcome.
