Had a lady yesterday walk up to the register and tried ordering a double smoked bacon sandwich. Informed her we didn’t have any in stock. She had a nasty look on her face and caught the biggest attitude and asked ‘WELL WHAT DO YALL HAVE THEN?!’ I named off the sandwiches we did have and she just walked off midway. I’m over this.

“Sorry we’re out of pumpkin today” well what DO you have?!
“….literally anything else”

Whenever I hear “well what DO you have” from customers, that same line from the Weird Al song “Albuquerque” plays in my head 😂

We have been out of vanilla the last two days, having to explain to every customer who orders any kind of cold foam cold brew was like pulling teeth. Literally saw on the dto camera some lady throw her hands up and cover her head like she just found out her life was ending. Like chill people, we’ve been through this before. The product comes back.

The worst part of being out of white mocha is there really isn’t a good replacement for it, so when people ask for something similar I don’t have anything to offer. I really wish Starbucks would have a solution to the outages other than “just deal with it”. I can’t really think of anything other than cutting items off our menu temporarily so they could focus on getting the products customers prefer, but what do I know. We just get to be the punching bags for pissy customers when we don’t have product.

I hate that question! Like idk maybe try reading the menu? Try a new drink? Fuck

I work at Tarbucks but also the Target Cafe. We haven't been able to cook hot dogs for like 2 months because the roller broke and it hasn't been fixed or replaced. I put the "gone" and "returning soon" stickers on the sign IN THREE PLACES. Some guy today asked if we had hot dogs and when I said no, he said "you need to take the sign down then!" I just pointed to it and said "well it says gone and returning soon, so.." he had this look of "oh damn she's right, shit.." and just walked away 😂 then 2 more people asked right after 🙃

“Can i get a pumpkin cream cold brew?”

“Im sorry we’re all out of our pumpkin spice - is there anything else I can get you?”

“Ughhhhhhh…. Ugh… well do you at least have a pumpkin spice latte?”

“No… that also uses our pumpkin spice syrup”

Why have i had this or similar interactions very often 🫠

Yesterday my DTO person listed all of the sandwiches we had (which didn’t include the double smoked bacon) and the person goes, “ okay, I’ll take a double smoked bacon.” 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ proving once again, that they don’t listen to us, we’re not worth listening to…

Also I loved when we are out of cold brew and they ask if we have nitro cold brew… I mean I guess if you didn’t know they were the same maybe you’d wonder, but to me you don’t have to think that hard

I was doing drive through and a lady asked for white chocolate and white chocolate mocha came up on the screen and she proceeds to yell I don’t want white mocha I want white chocolate …….

I had a lady one time who went back through the line to tell us we made her a "white mocha" when she ordered a "white mocha" and i got the lovely job of telling her they're the same thing.

we kept having to make a list because we were out of almost everything, cake pops. frapp roast, pumpkin spice, white mocha, coconut milk, strawberries, matcha, dragon berries, pink drinks, lemonade, java chips, almond milk, cold brew, blonde espresso… it’s been like that regularly. so i did get it when they were like … O_o what is left 😹😹 but man.. there’s always some “dontcha have more in the back” type of person in all retail jobs hahaha

Literally , I’m like how can people not put 2 and 2 together . Lady on drive thru said , I said white chocolate mocha not white mocha . I said I just said we was out cause who are you to argue with me ?

There was a white mocha and a toasted white mocha last winter so that’s probably why 😑
