No, don’t assume, clarify. Say what you need, ask for what you want. You’re worth it.

They’re preparing themselves for you to leave.
When managers get told that someone might put in their two weeks soon, they tend to not schedule them as to prepare to not have you around anymore. They stopped scheduling you for the next two weeks to do that.
You need to communicate to your ASM and SM that you have no intention to leave in the foreseeable future. Constant and clear communication prevents these types of things from happening. Maybe you can ask baristas to take their shifts in the meantime if you need the hours.

Yeah this is because they think you’re going to quit and don’t want to be down a person. If you really want to stay that’ll have to be a conversation.
Obviously, I don’t know exactly what has been said so far, maybe they’re being presumptuous, but having to cover shifts when someone quits sucks, especially if they call out during their two weeks. They’re trying to stay ahead of the game. It is what it is. Let them know you’re staying for a long while yet in explicit terms

Word of advice, never inform a job that you’re leaving unless you’re 1000000000 certain that you have secured the job. So, even if that means a short notice for them, fuck them. Corporations don’t give you 2 week notice before firing you. 🤷🏾♀️

You probably should have communicated that as soon as you decided to stay. Since it sounds like you already have other jobs, your managers probably expected you to be on your way out very quickly and wanted to make sure the floor was prepared for your absence. My current manager pre-promoted an ssv because another freshly-graduated shift warned him that she was hunting for a professional career, and was slowly giving her more “coverage” shifts rather than “keyholder” shifts. That made it so when she quit, her shifts could be easily filled.
It’s actually really brave and considerate to let your manager well ahead of time that you’re leaving because that gives them time to hire, train, and settle a green bean. Nothing is worse than an unprepared manager staffing half the store with green beans with less than 2 months of practice.
Just text your asm back and straightforwardly tell them that you actually want to stay, then request a one-on-one or phone call to confirm your new decision.
I think you should also tell them how you felt during this process, because it would be a good learning moment for them too :)

DO NOT QUIT.
They are asking you to put in a two weeks so they have official proof that you quit. If they stopped scheduling you, you can apply for unemployment and say that your hours got reduced. If you put in a two weeks you won’t be able to collect unemployment.
Yes, this is them firing you. If you go back you may be treated differently because you decided at one point that you wanted to leave. If you start collecting unemployment and they start scheduling you again, you can go back unless you want to quit. Just remember that quitting = no unemployment. They want this because they have to pay part of your unemployment and it’s cheaper to have people quit than to fire them.
