just found out a regular of ours passed away (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by urlessies
i’m not sure when she did but it had to be in the last 6 months. she was one of the first people i’ve ever rang up and she was incredibly sweet, whenever i would ask for her name, she would always say “(name)! the simple spelled one” and would chuckle (it is a fairly common name that can be spelled two ways). she would always come in with her mom and daughter. the daughter and her mom still come in and they’re extremely sweet too. i found out a few days ago and whenever i think about her now, tears form in my eyes. we’ll all miss you, thanks for being such a kind customer :( you really brightened our days and we were always so happy to see you. i’m genuinely devastated ☹️

Sorry to hear this. I have quite a few regulars who also are a pleasure to see and serve. They're the ones who really make the job much more worthwhile.

exactly! she did come in once after a span of time and then she was gone, i wish i could’ve known. i wish i could’ve said goodbye or something or even bought her and her family some flowers, you know? :(
