There's supposed to be a barcode on the back that applies to all 5 cards. You just scan it and the custom amount entry should pop up.
It's been a bit since I've seen one of those so I could be wrong.

I have never had a multipack work properly. Had someone come in and try to load 50 $5 cards yesterday and I had to do them all individually. Hate this things

For next time you can hit “quantity, 50”->activate new card-> enter amount, and then you just have to scan all the cards. Instead of hitting “activate new card, 5$, swipe” 50 times

You just have to be careful doing that in that quantity because after a while the computer can't keep up if you're too fast with the scanning. My manager a few years ago did a 150 gift card transaction for someone and realized at the end that not all of them had actually been scanned. She had to go through and individually void and redo every single one. This lady was unshakeable and she cried while doing this. I would have too lol

If you do quantity 5 then select activate card it'll do it all at once :)

I used these for the holiday times when I didn’t feel like grabbing 25-50 individual cards and it worked for me.
I did activate > amount guest told me > scan and it automatically listed 5 cards on my screen but maybe it’s different at some stores?

You should all let your SM know you can do the “quantity” trick for individual cards - holiday season is coming and people LOVE getting 30 cards - want to make sure everyone is trained on how to do this properly. Just note that it only works if they’re all the same amount.

i think i tried to do this once just to figure it out. i dont remember completely but i think i scanned the back first then input the amount. if its not that then i don’t remember 💀

Just scan the qr code thing in the back WITHOUT pressing activate or reload on the register. A popup will ask you how much you wanna put on each card :)

scan the code on the card first instead of using "activate card." in other news ive had to scan a whole lot of these ($1000 dollars worth) 2 years in a row (i remembered the guy when he came back because of course). he was using them to donate to people, so that was nice, but i did not enjoy the Struggle 😔. also we ran out of 5-packs 2/3 thru and i had to do the rest individually.
