Flared yoga pants (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by ckrhee
Hi guys! I’m a 173 rehire and I haven’t worked for Starbucks in about 4 years. I was wondering if flared leggings/yoga pants are now acceptable? I’m on a really tight budget and also am losing weight at a fast rate… so I’m hoping I can get away with them until I can afford better pants. Thank you ☺️

They're not in dress code.

But yeah people wear them and surprisingly don't usually get dress coded, lol.

Thank you. I suppose in my heart of hearts I knew better 😂

Tbh I hope in the future they're allowed . . . I know people say it's because it's like a safety thing and I understand that. But I'm always more productive when I'm more comfortable and yoga pants are the ultimate comfy clothes!

True. I used to work in a Pfizer lab with different chemicals at a range of temps. We wore really thin scrubs. Ijs.

Right and like tbf I've burnt myself through my apron AND my jeans before anyways

Don’t quote me, but I think the reason leggings are disallowed is because the fabric will stick to your skin if you get a grease burn

Haha just make sure they’re squat proof

In my store it’s okay to wear leggings with a dress or long shirt that covers your butt but you should really ask your store manager

Jeggings are now allowed but still not leggings
