I'm just saying, if you went to a corporate store the things you learned working at a licensed store (having to do the pulls yourself and having autonomy over your time management with opening and closing tasks) transfer over well to a shift position.

I used to love my licensed store (Tarbucks) but there has never been a time where I've regretted going corporate.

Tbh, I close 30 mins early to clean for a good hour, 🫣 hopefully I don’t get in trouble, because 30 mins is definitely not enough to clean

Previous Safeway Starbucks manager. We’re not allowed to close early because of the contract Safeway has with Starbucks. Have to stay open no matter what 🙃 I’m sorry for your struggles. I’ve definitely been there multiple times

Harris teeter is the same. They will close other departments (deli/bakery) to keep starbucks open I'd need be.

Albertsons and Safeway are same owners but they must not have the same contract with Albertsons bc that kiosk is closed soo often

Albertsons is the mother company of several different grocery stores. Apparently they're planning a merge with Kroger too, wonder if rules will be changing

Yeah I’m not sure it might have been when we renewed our contract back in Feb/March. That’s when Safeway renewed their union contracts
